About the project
A visualisation study for a neighbourhood library organised around a five-storey reading atrium lit from above.
Study
We produced a full 3D model to test how daylight moves through the atrium across the year, and how the stacks can stay out of direct sun while the reading tables get plenty of it.
Outcome
The study fixed the size of the roof light and the depth of the perimeter shelving before any drawings went to the planners.
