About the project
A converted print works fitted out as a ceramics studio and showroom under a sawtooth roof of north-facing glass.
Light
Potters need even, shadowless light. We reopened the original north-facing roof glazing and lined the trusses with pale birch to bounce it deeper into the room.
Working space
Wheels, kilns and glazing benches follow the order of the work, front to back, with the showroom at the street end.
