Twenty-four co-operative apartments arranged around a shared courtyard, with deep balconies that work as outdoor rooms.
Community first
Every front door opens onto the courtyard or the gallery above it, so residents pass each other every day. The ground floor holds a shared kitchen, a workshop and bike storage.
Building
A cross-laminated timber frame keeps the embodied carbon low and the build quick: the structure went up in eleven weeks.
